Introduction of our inn
Our inn is located about 30 minutes by car toward to the mountain area from the center of Ichinoseki city, Iwate prefecture, Japan.
The theme of our inn is "Retreat".
We offer hot springs that have skin-conditioning effects, and "Japanese French" cuisine that is both delicious and visually appealing, using carefully selected local produce.
As an attraction to enjoy Japanese culture, we also offer an experience where you can easily try on a "KIMONO".
Please enjoy the time and space to relax and heal your mind and body while also experiencing the natural scenery of the foothills of Mt. Kurikoma, which straddles the three prefectures of Iwate, Akita, and Miyagi.
Hot Spring
Matsurube Onsen Kamikura is a hot spring in a tranquil environment surrounded by forest.
Experience the Kamikura Retreat, where the water has a highly effective skin-beautifying effect and the synergistic effect of "hot spring bathing & forest bathing" will "revitalize" your body and mind.
In addition to staying overnight, you can also use the baths for day trips.
Guest rooms
The guest rooms at our hotel are designed with a theme of the natural world and the four seasons at the foot of Mt. Kurikoma and Mt. Matsurube, combining old Japanese color words and kimono patterns.
Enjoy a room that matches the season at Kamikura, where you can experience the beautiful natural world.
There are seven rooms in total.
One of the rooms is a special room, which has a private bath separately from the large public bath. (It is not a hot spring.)
Each room is equipped with a TV, fridge, toilet with a washlet feature, free Internet connection (Wi-Fi), and various amenities.
Cuisine
The cuisine at our hotel is "Japanese French" with a local gastronomy theme.
We visit all of the producers to carefully select and serve flavorful, high-quality ingredients produced at the foot of Mt. Kurikoma.
Our unique cooking style combines "Japanese food culture in every season" with "French culinary culture using delicate techniques," and we update our menu every season.
We also use ingredients and seasonings unique to Japan, such as miso and soy sauce, and carefully prepare our dishes to be satisfying in both taste and appearance.

Just by wearing a "KIMONO", one can feel a sense of Japanese culture.
At our inn, we offer a casual kimono experience.
After checking in, please choose your favorite kimono. We have both men's and women's kimonos available.
Whether you're with friends, a partner, you'll feel uplifted by seeing each other in a different outfit, and your mannerisms and behavior will become more elegant as you spend a fresh time together.
You can even dine in your kimono.
You can also enjoy the new experience of "Japanese French in a kimono".
